EmelySwedish born Emely has been chopping and colouring hair for 12 years now. Along the way, she’s been around the world and has plenty of stories of her travels Thailand, Australia and New Zealand. She washed up on British shores 6 years ago and has been working her hair magic in London ever since.

Emely has been working with L’Oréal (our preferred choice) for the last 3 years worked in South West London. We’ve finally managed to persuade her come East! She loves all things hair; From colours to cutting, from long hair to gents.

Highly experienced in those natural tones we all love, Emely is keen to finally get the chance to be creative in a way only East Londoners know.

Like those graphic cuts? Emely’s your girl! A huge fan of geometric shapes and strong lines. That said, put a bit of bridal hair her way and there’ll be no disappointing.

When she’s not styling hair, Emely is a massive film fan and loves to experience London life. Although she is partial to a cheeky holiday to quell that wanderlust. Need that appointment? Do it here!

allisonThe Toronto talent that is Allison has joined us fresh off the boat after 3 years working in Sydney, Australia’s prestigious Double Bay and Darlinghurst areas. Now back in the northern hemisphere, let’s tell London what she’s all about.

An experienced L’Oreal technician, she specializes in natural, lived in colours and her balayage is bang on.

Allison’s colour work may be top draw but she also loves styling, especially creating beachy waves and glamorous up-dos. This is only further underlined by working on events such as Toronto Fashion Week.

The lady is a certified do-gooder with a penchant for charitable work. Clearly she’s a keen traveler and looking forward to discovering what Europe (while we’re still in!) has to offer. So, any suggestions welcome. She also makes a good Betty Crocker cake mix.

Giles says that meeting people and building relationships is all part of the fun; “I love talking rubbish”.giles-11

After 15 years, he’s just moved out of London to the seaside with his Make-Up Artist wife and young daughter, Willow. But to keep his hand in, he’ll be with us here in our Spitalfields salon a few days a week.

He still likes to knock out the odd tune mind! Professionally, he’s written music for the likes of Playstation, TFL and even The Welsh Tourist Board. But Giles wanted something more stable and feels at home in a salon atmosphere. So here he is! “LukeJacob is the fun and relaxed salon I’ve been looking for and I’m excited to be the newest member of the team”. His interests are music (obviously), the arts, skateboarding, creative living and anything to do with his family. We’re family now!!! Book Giles online or call the number… 020 7247 0078

Salon owner and Director Luke is a second generation London hairdresser. Luke’s been working in top salons across London for over 15 years. From Mayfair to Canary Wharf, he brings this experience and knowledge of hair to East London’s Spitalfields.
First cutting his teeth in the industry in Mayfair’s MichaelJohn, then working alongside some of the best names in the industry until rising through the ranks of Toni&Guy as academy educator, artistic team member and manager. It’s been a long colourful road to where he is now.

Luke loves giving a tailored and personal 5 star service that only comes with his history. Now starting something new he relishes the idea of putting a new team together and building something great.

Luke’s been lucky enough to have a fantastic life journey to this point. He’s walked Borneo’s jungles and climbed Nepal’s mountain tops, Peruvian temples to France’s Cote Savage, adventure has been a constant. But when in London, he’s worked on Christian Lacroix shows and been at the beckoned call of Morrisey. From Anne Robinson to Caprice, to name but a few; colourful indeed!
